Classes and Workshops
Our dynamic, hands-on workshops teach students the fundamentals of Aromatherapy and Herbalism. See below for a list of upcoming classes. We also provide private workshops and one-on-one training; for more information, please fill out the form on the right.
Aromatherapy: Advanced Blending
Prerequisite: Completion of Holistic Aromatherapy or equivalent knowledge.
Take your aromatherapy knowledge and blending skills to the next level. In this “hands-on” workshop you will learn the intricacies of creating balanced blends. Fifteen essential oils and absolutes will be covered, and, along with the thirty oils from the Holistic Aromatherapy workshop, they will be used to create various types of blends that you will take home: diffuser blends for spa/home/office; therapeutic blends for massage/skin care; and perfume blends for emotional balance. A $15 materials fee is payable to the presenter at the first meeting.

Saturday: Pharmacy of Flowers
Join us for an olfactory feast featuring some of the world's most exotic, rare, and precious essential oils (various types of roses, jasmines, lotuses, orange blossom, agar wood, sandalwood, champaca, and many more). This is a comprehensive introduction to aromatic plants and essential oils, with special emphasis on the benefits of fragrance in daily life and the use of essential oils for enhancing health and happiness.
Sunday: A Contemplative Approach to Ayurvedic Wisdom
Using Aromatherapy and a meditative approach to learning, we will explore the fundamental concepts of Ayurvedic medicine and philosophy. Essential oils will be used to enhance meditative states and be applied to understanding the importance of: Abiding in the self, the nature of prana (life force) and its intelligence, the five universal elements, the seven tissue levels and their relationship to sense of self, light as evolution of life into consciousness, how prana flows in and out of the sense organs.
Cost: $100 for single day; $185 for both days; $170 preregistration if paid by June 28.
